Find & Buy Deals On Meals With BiteHunter For iPhone

Often when you are out with friends, or even alone, the question which almost invariably arises is “Where to eat?” There are so many good restaurants and cafes in all the major cities, offering a wide variety of cuisines, causing you to spend a pretty long amount of time deciding the best restaurant for the day. Many iPhone apps and services help their users in that regard, like Foursquare and Yelp, but the newly released BiteHunter goes a step further, and not only can you find good places to eat using the app, it will also display the best food deals around you. If that is not enough for you, BiteHunter will even let you purchase the shown deals right from within the app!

If you intend to make deal purchases using BiteHunter, then you will have to sign up for a new app-specific account. If that is not the case, feel free to browse through the amazing restaurant suggestions and deals showcased in the app. Upon first launch, BiteHunter will access the user’s current location and show the results accordingly. If you want to view eating places from some other area, head to the Settingsmenu within the app and choose a custom location. By default, BiteHunter shows cafes and deals as deliciously laid out photos, but if you are stickler for detail, you can get the list view, which shows the ratings of the place, in addition to the deals percentage and the address of the restaurant. Alternatively, BiteHunter features a map menu as well.

To help you find the most suitable place to eat, BiteHunter allows its users to browse through restaurants based on their categories. You can either choose your favorite cuisine from the bottom bar, or open a whole menu for that purpose by tapping that same bar. Once you get to the desired deal, the app will give you directions to reach the place, along with other data associated with the restaurant. In case the deal has to be bought, you can do so by creating a new BiteHunter account and associating your credit card information with it.
You can think of BiteHunter as a deal integrator of sorts, as it scours the web for food-related discounts and in the process makes use of all the famous deal sources like GroupOn, Yelp, LivingSocial, etc. The app will work properly only in the US, and you can download it from the link below.
